Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Tools4Wisdom 2014 Mom Planner

Product Description:

The Tools4Wisdom Mom Planner is a very well crafted calendar about the size of a 8.5*11 sheet of paper. The cover of the planner has a nice warm fun design to it with a heavy duty clear covering. (Great for little sticky hands) The planner is bound with a nice heavy duty clear plastic spiral. (Will not hurt little hands)

Inside the Planner:

This planner literally contains everything a mom on the go will need to get all her work organized. The first page is all about yearly goals. The goals can be organized based on hight to low priority. For example teaching my little one to add is a top priority while taking her to more then one art museum is less of a priority.

The following pages contain a more detailed lists of the goals and why they are important and how we shall go about reaching them. For example one goal is to have my child reading small books independently. Every day I will set aside ten minutes of fun read out loud time.

After the introduction, it is all about each month. The layout is pretty much the same for each month. The first page is a list of monthly priorities. They can be made using the yearly goals or new goals that arise. For example in November your child may need to go to a specialist and put on a specific diet. (Yes it happened to my little one) The goals are all up to you and your family. After the goals are all in, it is time for the typical monthly spread. I like this as I can see my whole schedule for the month like what the kids are up to and what I need to do. A little bonus on each spread is motivational questions like April: how can I have more fun. After that it is off to the weekly calendar that includes tie slots. This is amazing for Dr. appointments. I like to have Dr. X penciled on the monthly calendar and then I go to the day and see what time, when, and where. Helps me be more organized and less messy.

Pros:
  • Monthly calendar
  • Time slots in the weekly calendar
  • Goals to be set weekly, monthly, yearly
  • Very organized
  • Heavy duty paper will not tear easily
Cons:
  •  There is so much going on, it is hard to keep track of what you are up to. I have three colored paperclips. The red is for the beginning of the month and the monthly goals, the blue is for the monthly page spread and the green is to keep track of what day of the week we are in.
  • Will not fit in a pocketbook.
Bottom Line:

As a mom, I am sure most of you are on the go. It gets hard to stay organize. I have tried all sorts of methods and I am very happy with this Mommy calendar. In a way, it forces me to see life differently. I can be organized and see what goals I have and what still needs to be done. I am more organized. When I am on top of things, my family runs smoother and I like it.

If you are like me and not into keeping all of your schedules on a calendar, then this is for you.
